Davide Bartelucci, alto saxophone
Biography

Davide Bartelucci began studying the saxophone when he was 7 years old, then specialized at the Gioacchini Rossini Academy of Music in Pesaro under guidance of Federico Mondelci, where he received his degree with merit. 
Bartelucci has won 12 national and international competitions and has performed in the leading Italian and international theatres in Spain, Germany, France, Portugal, Switzerland, Russia and U.S.A. He has collaborated, as soloist, with important European orchestras, such as the Filarmonica of Saint Pietroburgo, the Filarmonica of the theatre La Fenice of Venice, the Orchestra of Padova and Veneto, the Orchestra Toscanini of Parma, the Filarmonica Marchigiana, the Orchestra Città Aperta.

Bartelucci has recorded for Brilhart, Parco della Musica Records, Rai, Sky and Warner Bros, and has collaborated with jazz and “pop” artists such as Javier Girotto, Fabrizio Bosso, Raphael Gualazzi, Peppino di Capri and Ivana Spagna.

He is a member of the artist faculty of the Scuola Media “Donatello“ in Ancona.
