Bringing the world's most extraordinary classical artists to
Rhode Island for over 65 years

2018-19 Season
Our 2018-19 Season
Rhode Island Chamber Music Concerts is thrilled to present four extraordinary ensembles from the Czech Republic, Italy, and the USA, and follow each concert with a lively meet-the-artists reception onstage.
Rhode Island Chamber Music Concerts originated in soirées of the 1930s at the Benefit Street mansion of the newlywed Anne and John Nicholas Brown, both ardent lovers of chamber music. Those concerts started a tradition that turned into the oldest chamber music presenting organization in the state, and one of the oldest chamber music series in the country. Read about our heritage here.

We present today’s top international stars – the same classical artists who give sold-out performances at Carnegie Hall in New York and Wigmore Hall in London – but we bring them right to your doorstep in an intimate setting and at an unbeatable price. Don’t miss a single one of these life-affirming concerts, presented on Thursday evenings at McVinney Auditorium in Downtown Providence.
